Christ - Lord of time and all creation

Genesis 1:5, “And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.”

The phrase, the evening and the morning were the first day, in Genesis 1:5 gives the implication that God use morning and evening to govern a day. Or n other words, there is no reason to assume time could exist at the absence of morning and evening. How could God create time? It was through the creation of light as mentioned in Genesis 1:3.

Genesis 1:3, “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”

Thus, God is timeless since time should not be in existence prior to the creation of light. It was through God’s creation of light, morning and evening could be determined to govern the time.
