Censor of the Year for 2014

From the Discovery Institute:

Discovery Institute’s “Censor of the Year” award recognizes success in choking off free speech on evolution and intelligent design. To be given on Darwin Day, February 12, the prize this year will go to University of Chicago biologist Jerry Coyne, author of the popular blog Why Evolution Is True.

See more at:

For further background:

Let me make clear at the outset: In naming University of Chicago biologist Jerry Coyne as “Censor of the Year,” we at the Center for Science & Culture are not bestowing an honor. While the idea of giving out a “prize” for something so malignant as censorship may sound like a lark, it’s not. As CSC associate director John West points out, “This is very serious business. Censorship retards the search for truth and hurts innocent people.”

From Age of the earth

The age of the earth is probably the number-one favorite ground on which to challenge creation and support evolution. The first tooth of the Grand Evolutionary Trident, i.e. uniformitarianism, depends on a great age for the earth. offers this essay that gives evidence, from biology, geology, nuclear physics, and astronomy, that the earth is in fact young!

From Creation Tips: Fairly Absurd Questions

This website,,  supports evangelical Christianity and creationism. We constantly receive abusive emails from atheists, skeptics, and angry evolutionists.

So we have decided to start a page of FAQs — not “Frequently Asked Questions,” but “Fairly Absurd Questions”.

Here are some extremely silly questions and comments taken from emails we have received, with our responses.

Q: Creationists never get their facts right! Anyone who believes that Moses took 2 of every animal on a boat could not possibly get complicated scientific facts right.

A: It wasn’t Moses. It was Noah.

Q: Adam was not a man; Adam means a race of people. Show me your reference in the Bible for saying that the first man living was named Adam.

A: I Corinthians 15:45. (“And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [Christ] was made a quickening spirit.”) If the last Adam (Jesus Christ) was a man and not a race of people, the first Adam must have been also.

Q: You say in your article about the human baby born with a tail that it has nothing to do with evolution because apes don’t have tails. Haven’t you heard of the Barbary Ape that has a tail!

A: Yes, we mention it in our article. But did you know that the barbary “ape” is actually a monkey, not an ape, and monkeys have tails anyway? So how does it prove your belief that humans evolved from apes by saying that a monkey has a tail?

Q: You probably believe your own ****! You pathetic ****, I pity you. Oh, by the way, the Earth is flat, fairies live at the bottom of my garden and witches should be burnt at the stake. It’s staggering how you can believe this stuff in 2009.

A: You left out Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.

Q: If you believe in creation science you must also believe the earth is flat and there is a tooth fairy.

A: With that logic you must believe that people evolved from apes.

Q: You people are just using scare tactics to try to scare people into becoming Christians. What do you say to that?

A: Boo!

Q: You guys are crazy thinking evolution is questionable. It’s been proven since Charles Darwin’s time that we have evolved from apes.

A: Well, we don’t know your personal habits or what you see in a mirror, so if you say you’ve come from an ape we won’t embarrass you further. But everyone else on earth, including Charles Darwin, has descended from human parents and nothing else.

Q: Your web stie is so full of pi in the sky believes that it maks me mad jus lokoing at it ..why dont you get educatd!

A: Can you rekamend a good skool!?

Q: Ha ha ha! Did you people know that a Skeptics group gave you their “Worst Creationist Website” award?

A: Yes, and that award has made us the envy of creationist websites across the world. But they gave the award to our old website under the old management some years ago. This site is now under new management, and we have changed a few things. When the Skeptics look at this site now they will find it is much worse.

Q: If creationists are so smart, why don’t they accept that there’s a link between humans and ape-like creatures?

A: If evolutionists are so smart, why don’t they convince us that there is one?

Q: Haven’t you wiseguys heard that evolution from apes is proven by the fact that humans and chimps have 98% DNA in common?

A: Here is a challenge. Take a good-looking young guy and a good-looking male chimp, place them side by side and ask a group of teenage girls which one they would like to be seen with on a date. After the first one chooses the guy, see if you can offload the chimp to any of the others for a double-date. 98% similar DNA simply means similar DNA. It doesn’t show descent and it certainly doesn’t show that chimps are 98% identical to humans.

Evolutionist greeting cardQ: Your assertion that Homo sapiens hasn’t evolved from apes is an insult to science.

A: Speaking of insults, choose one of the following comments to say to the next mother of a new-born baby you meet:

  1. “What a beautiful gift from God your baby is!”
  2. “It’s indisputable that your baby has evolved from apes.”

Q: You people wouldn’t know a good case for evolution if you fell over one.

A: Maybe you’re right. But we’re not sure that Darwinists know a good case for evolution either, because the only evidence they can think of to give creationists is ridicule.

Q: I got abducted by aliens in Memphis and was taken in a UFO to another galaxy. Since I got back I have electricity running thorugh my body. What should I do?

A: Wear rubber boots.

Q: As a fundamentalist site you must also support suicide bombers and Osama bin Laden’s murderous henchmen.

A: You’ve got the wrong religion for a start. And after the number of news items we have run against people like Osama bin Laden over the years we are not expecting an email from al-Qaeda offering us their sponsorship.

Q: Ive written to you scumbags twice befor an d told you evything tyhat was wrong witha all you web sight .. why didnt you reply.

A: You gave us a fake email address.

Testimony of Frank Mayo before the Texas State Board of Education

Frank Mayo is an engineer and a creationist. He has been involved testifying for the SBOE review processes for the last ten years. He has encouraged the publishers and the SBOE to revise the older evidence now known to be faulty, and include the newer research results that might lead current theory in a different direction. Here are links to his verbal and written testimony for 2011 so all can see just what has been advocated. Please note the emphasis on mainstream peer reviewed research.

Quotes from famous people:

Abraham Lincoln:

I know that the Lord is always on the side of the right. But it is my constant anxiety and prayer that I and this nation should be on the Lord’s side.

Carl Sagan:

I am an agnostic.

Ben Franklin

God governs in the affairs of men.

Thomas Edison:

There is a great directing head of people and things. A supreme being who looks after the destinies of the world.

Thomas Jefferson

Say nothing of my religion. It is know to myself and my God alone.

Albert Einstein

I am not an atheist. But what really makes me angry is that they quote me for the support of such views…..Fanatical atheists deny the creator.

Charles Darwin

I have never been an atheist

Atheists who attack Creationists:

The following listed are Atheists – Evolutionists with their quotes. Some have been addressed by creationists and/or the CSHF.
Eugenie Scott:

One clergyman with a backward collar is worth two biologists at a school board meeting any day.

Isaac Asimov

Creationists make it sound like a ‘theory’ is something you dreamt up after being drunk all night.

Andrew Carnegie

I don’t believe in God. My god is patriotism. Teach a man to be a good citizen and you have solved the problem of life.

Ernest Hemingway

All thinking men are atheists.

Friedrich Nietzsche

Faith means not wanting to know what is true.

George Bernard Shaw

The fact that a believer is happier than a skeptic is no more to the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one.

Kurt Vonnegut

Say what you will about the sweet miracle of unquestioning faith, I consider a capacity for it terrifying and absolutely vile.

Frank Lloyd Wright

I believe in God, only I spell it Nature.

Denis Diderot

Man will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest.

Samuel Clemens

A man is accepted into a church for what he believes and he is turned out for what he knows.

Sigmund Freud

The whole thing is so patently infantile, so foreign to reality, that to anyone with a friendly attitude to humanity it is painful to think that the great majority of mortals will never be able to rise above this view of life.

Edward Gibbon

Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful.

Ferdinand Magellan

The church says the earth is flat, but I know that it is round, for I have seen the shadow on the moon, and I have more faith in a shadow than in the church.

Woody Allen

Not only is there no god, but try getting a plumber on weekends.

Gloria Steinem

It’s an incredible con job when you think about it, to believe something now in exchange for something after death. Even corporations with their reward systems don’t try to make it posthumous.

Richard Dawkins

Highly intelligent people are mostly atheists.

Faith is one of the world’s great evils, comparable to the smallpox virus but harder to eradicate.

Any fetus is less human than an adult pig.

That last might be truer than he knows, but not for the reason he implies. Classically, foetus is Latin for an unborn calf. But if that’s his attitude toward an unborn human child…well, needless to say, God does not share that attitude. Psalm 139:13-16. Look it up.

The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all of fiction. Jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic-cleanser; a misogynistic homophobic racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal….

Well, no need to finish the quotation; you get the idea. Richard Dawkins seems to have chosen God as his sworn enemy.

Faith is a great cop-out, the great excuse to evade the need to think and evaluate evidence

It’s probably unnecessary to observe that he has it backwards.

Twelve Quotes from Leading Evolutionists

This page may be freely copied:

Evolution is science? It is admittedly unobservable, lacking fossil evidence, dependent upon scientific consensus, and essentially a belief system about past life on Earth. The following 12 quotes are from leading and well known scientists and researchers. A larger work with 130 similar quotes is available: “The Revised Quote Book”, edited by Dr. A. Snelling, PhD, pub. by: Creation Science Foundation, Australia

The absence of fossil evidence for intermediary stages between major transitions in organic design, indeed our inability, even in our imagination, to construct functional intermediates in many cases, has been a persistent and nagging problem for gradualistic accounts of evolution.

Stephen Jay Gould (Professor of Geology and Paleontology, Harvard University), “Is a new and general theory of evolution emerging?” Paleobiology, vol. 6(1), January 1980, p. 127

Contrary to what most scientists write, the fossil record does not support the Darwinian theory of evolution because it is this theory (there are several) which we use to interpret the fossil record. By doing so we are guilty of circular reasoning if we then say the fossil record supports this theory.

Ronald R. West, PhD (paleoecology and geology) (Assistant Professor of Paleobiology at Kansas State University), “Paleoecology and uniformitarianism”. Compass, vol. 45, May 1968, p. 216

The chance that higher life forms might have emerged in this way is comparable with the chance that ‘a tornado sweeping through a junk yard might assemble a Boeing 747 from the materials therein.

Sir Fred Hoyle (English astronomer, Professor of Astronomy at Cambridge University), as quoted in “Hoyle on Evolution”, Nature, vol. 294, 12 Nov. 1981, p. 105

Echoing the criticism made of his father’s habilis skulls, he added that Lucy’s skull was so incomplete that most of it was ‘imagination made of plaster of Paris’, thus making it impossible to draw any firm conclusion about what species she belonged to.

Referring to comments made by Richard Leakey (Director of National Museums of Kenya) in The Weekend Australian, 7-8 May 1983, Magazine, p. 3

The entire hominid collection known today would barely cover a billiard table, … the collection is so tantalizingly incomplete, and the specimens themselves often so fragmented and inconclusive, that more can be said about what is missing than about what is present. …but ever since Darwin’s work inspired the notion that fossils linking modern man and extinct ancestor would provide the most convincing proof of human evolution, preconceptions have led evidence by the nose in the study of fossil man.

John Reader (photo-journalist and author of “Missing Links”), “Whatever happened to Zinjanthropus?” New Scientist, 26 March 1981, p. 802

A five million-year-old piece of bone that was thought to be a collarbone of a humanlike creature is actually part of a dolphin rib, …He [Dr. T. White] puts the incident on par with two other embarrassing [sic] faux pas by fossil hunters: Hesperopithecus, the fossil pig’s tooth that was cited as evidence of very early man in North America, and Eoanthropus or “Piltdown Man,” the jaw of an orangutan and the skull of a modern human that were claimed to be the “earliest Englishman.”

The problem with a lot of anthropologists is that they want so much to find a hominid that any scrap of bone becomes a hominid bone.

Dr. Tim White (anthropologist, University of California, Berkeley). As quoted by Ian Anderson “Hominoid collarbone exposed as dolphin’s rib”, in New Scientist, 28 April 1983, p. 199

We add that it would be all too easy to object that mutations have no evolutionary effect because they are eliminated by natural selection. Lethal mutations (the worst kind) are effectively eliminated, but others persist as alleles. …Mutants are present within every population, from bacteria to man. There can be no doubt about it. But for the evolutionist, the essential lies elsewhere: in the fact that mutations do not coincide with evolution.

Pierre-Paul Grassé (University of Paris and past-President, French Académie des Sciences) in Evolution of Living Organisms, Academic Press, New York, 1977, p. 88

The essence of Darwinism lies in a single phrase: natural selection is the creative force of evolutionary change. No one denies that natural selection will play a negative role in eliminating the unfit. Darwinian theories require that it create the fit as well.

Stephen Jay Gould (Professor of Geology and Paleontology, Harvard University), “The return of hopeful monsters”. Natural History, vol. LXXXVI(6), June-Jule 1977, p. 28

And in man is a three-pound brain which, as far as we know, is the most complex and orderly arrangement of matter in the universe.

Dr. Isaac Asimov (biochemist; was a Professor at Boston University School of Medicine; internationally known author), “In the game of energy and thermodynamics you can’t even break even.”. Smithsonian Institute Journal, June 1970, p. 10

Why do geologists and archeologists still spend their scarce money on costly radiocarbon determinations? They do so because occasional dates appear to be useful. While the method cannot be counted on to give good, unequivocal results, the number do impress people, and save them the trouble of thinking excessively. Expressed in what look like precise calendar years, figures seem somehow better … “Absolute” dates determined by a laboratory carry a lot of weight, and are extremely helpful in bolstering weak arguments.

No matter how “useful” it is, though, the radiocarbon method is still not capable of yielding accurate and reliable results. There are gross discrepancies, the chronology is uneven and relative, and the accepted dates are actually selected dates. This whole bless thing is nothing but 13th-century alchemy, and it all depends upon which funny paper you read.

Robert E. Lee, “Radiocarbon: ages in error”. Anthropological Journal of Canada, vol.19(3), 1981, pp.9-29. Reprinted in the Creation Research Society Quarterly, vol. 19(2), September 1982, pp. 117-127 (quotes from pp. 123 and 125)

The intelligent layman has long suspected circular reasoning in the use of rocks to date fossils and fossils to date rocks. The geologist has never bothered to think of a good reply, feeling that explanations are not worth the trouble as long as the work brings results. This is supposed to be hard-headed pragmatism.

J. E. O’Rourke, “Pragmatism versus materialism in stratigraphy”. American Journal of Science, vol. 276, January 1976, p. 47

Scientists who go about teaching that evolution is a fact of life are great con-men, and the story they are telling may be the greatest hoax ever. In explaining evolution, we do not have one iota of fact.

Dr. T. N. Tahmisian (Atomic Energy Commission, USA) in “The Fresno Bee”, August 20, 1959. As quoted by N. J. Mitchell, Evolution and the Emperor’s New Clothes, Roydon Publications, UK, 1983, title page.

Dr. Sean Carroll, a theoretical cosmologist at the California Institute of Technology, says that there’s good reason to think science will ultimately arrive at a complete understanding of the universe that leaves no grounds for God whatsoever.

Fifteen Questions for Evolutionists

By Don Batten, Creation Ministries International. See here.

View the video version of CMI’s 15 questions brochure, by “Cowboy Bob” Sorensen.

  1. How did life originate? Evolutionist Professor Paul Davies admitted, “Nobody knows how a mixture of lifeless chemicals spontaneously organized themselves into the first living cell.”1 Andrew Knoll, professor of biology, Harvard, said, “we don’t really know how life originated on this planet”.2 A minimal cell needs several hundred proteins. Even if every atom in the universe were an experiment with all the correct amino acids present for every possible molecular vibration in the supposed evolutionary age of the universe, not even one average-sized functional protein would form. So how did life with hundreds of proteins originate just by chemistry without intelligent design?

  2. How did the DNA code originate? The code is a sophisticated language system with letters and words where the meaning of the words is unrelated to the chemical properties of the letters—just as the information on this page is not a product of the chemical properties of the ink (or pixels on a screen). What other coding system has existed without intelligent design? How did the DNA coding system arise without it being created?

  3. How could mutations—accidental copying mistakes (DNA ‘letters’ exchanged, deleted or added, genes duplicated, chromosome inversions, etc.)—create the huge volumes of information in the DNA of living things? How could such errors create 3 billion letters of DNA information to change a microbe into a microbiologist? There is information for how to make proteins but also for controlling their use—much like a cookbook contains the ingredients as well as the instructions for how and when to use them. One without the other is useless. See: Meta-information: An impossible conundrum for evolution. Mutations are known for their destructive effects, including over 1,000 human diseases such as hemophilia. Rarely are they even helpful. But how can scrambling existing DNA information create a new biochemical pathway or nano-machines with many components, to make ‘goo-to-you’ evolution possible? E.g., How did a 32-component rotary motor like ATP synthase (which produces the energy currency, ATP, for all life), or robots like kinesin (a ‘postman’ delivering parcels inside cells) originate?

  4. Why is natural selection, a principle recognized by creationists, taught as ‘evolution’, as if it explains the origin of the diversity of life? By definition it is a selective process (selecting from already existing information), so is not a creative process. It might explain the survival of the fittest (why certain genes benefit creatures more in certain environments), but not the arrival of the fittest (where the genes and creatures came from in the first place). The death of individuals not adapted to an environment and the survival of those that are suited does not explain the origin of the traits that make an organism adapted to an environment. E.g., how do minor back-and-forth variations in finch beaks explain the origin of beaks or finches? How does natural selection explain goo-to-you evolution?

  5. Everyone recognizes design in a glass vase, but evolutionists refuse to believe that the flowers in the vase must also have been designed. The problem is not that they do not show design, but that they show too much design.

How did new biochemical pathways, which involve multiple enzymes working together in sequence, originate? (This video simply explains the concept of a short biochemical pathway.) Every pathway and nano-machine requires multiple protein/enzyme components to work. How did lucky accidents create even one of the components, let alone 10 or 20 or 30 at the same time, often in a necessary programmed sequence. Evolutionary biochemist Franklin Harold wrote, “we must concede that there are presently no detailed Darwinian accounts of the evolution of any biochemical or cellular system, only a variety of wishful speculations.3

  6. Living things look like they were designed, so how do evolutionists know that they were not designed? Richard Dawkins wrote, “biology is the study of complicated things that have the appearance of having been designed with a purpose.”4 Francis Crick, the co-discoverer of the double helix structure of DNA, wrote, “Biologists must constantly keep in mind that what they see was not designed, but rather evolved.”5 The problem for evolutionists is that living things show too much design. Who objects when an archaeologist says that pottery points to human design? Yet if someone attributes the design in living things to a designer, that is not acceptable. Why should science be restricted to naturalistic causes rather than logical causes?

  7. How did multi-cellular life originate? How did cells adapted to individual survival ‘learn’ to cooperate and specialize (including undergoing programmed cell death) to create complex plants and animals?

  8. How did sex originate? Asexual reproduction gives up to twice as much reproductive success (‘fitness’) for the same resources as sexual reproduction, so how could the latter ever gain enough advantage to be selected? And how could mere physics and chemistry invent the complementary apparatuses needed at the same time (non-intelligent processes cannot plan for future coordination of male and female organs).

  9. Why are the (expected) countless millions of transitional fossils missing? Darwin noted the problem and it still remains. The evolutionary family trees in textbooks are based on imagination, not fossil evidence. Famous Harvard paleontologist (and evolutionist), Stephen Jay Gould, wrote, “The extreme rarity of transitional forms in the fossil record persists as the trade secret of paleontology”.6 Other evolutionist fossil experts also acknowledge the problem.

  10. How do ‘living fossils’ remain unchanged over supposed hundreds of millions of years, if evolution has changed worms into humans in the same time frame? Professor Gould wrote, “the maintenance of stability within species must be considered as a major evolutionary problem.”7

  11. How did blind chemistry create mind/ intelligence, meaning, altruism and morality? If everything evolved, and we invented God, as per evolutionary teaching, what purpose or meaning is there to human life? Should students be learning nihilism (life is meaningless) in science classes?

  12. Why is evolutionary ‘just-so’ story-telling tolerated? Evolutionists often use flexible story-telling to ‘explain’ observations contrary to evolutionary theory. NAS(USA) member Dr Philip Skell wrote, “Darwinian explanations for such things are often too supple: Natural selection makes humans self-centered and aggressive—except when it makes them altruistic and peaceable. Or natural selection produces virile men who eagerly spread their seed—except when it prefers men who are faithful protectors and providers. When an explanation is so supple that it can explain any behavior, it is difficult to test it experimentally, much less use it as a catalyst for scientific discovery.”8

  13. Where are the scientific breakthroughs due to evolution? Dr Marc Kirschner, chair of the Department of Systems Biology, Harvard Medical School, stated: “In fact, over the last 100 years, almost all of biology has proceeded independent of evolution, except evolutionary biology itself. Molecular biology, biochemistry, physiology, have not taken evolution into account at all.”9 Dr Skell wrote, “It is our knowledge of how these organisms actually operate, not speculations about how they may have arisen millions of years ago, that is essential to doctors, veterinarians, farmers … .”10 Evolution actually hinders medical discovery.11 Then why do schools and universities teach evolution so dogmatically, stealing time from experimental biology that so benefits humankind?

  14. Science involves experimenting to figure out how things work; how they operate. Why is evolution, a theory about history, taught as if it is the same as this operational science? You cannot do experiments, or even observe what happened, in the past. Asked if evolution has been observed, Richard Dawkins said, “Evolution has been observed. It’s just that it hasn’t been observed while it’s happening.”12

  15. Why is a fundamentally religious idea, a dogmatic belief system that fails to explain the evidence, taught in science classes? Karl Popper, famous philosopher of science, said “Darwinism is not a testable scientific theory, but a metaphysical [religious] research programme ….”13 Michael Ruse, evolutionist science philosopher admitted, “Evolution is a religion. This was true of evolution in the beginning, and it is true of evolution still today.”14 If “you can’t teach religion in science classes”, why is evolution taught?

Default Judgment (Debate Dodgers) List as of July 2012

A default-judgment debate dodger is a creation, devolution, intelligent design, or religion basher who declines to contend with scientific evidence. To date, those evolutionists individually and by organization invited to contend are more than 374,000, and none will contend because they have no scientific evidence to support their insulting public statements. For modern times, they are premier examples of anti-scientists because all of their so-called evidence is either superstitions (12%), frauds (74%), or forgeries (14%). (See Council of Biology Editors Style Manual, Fifth Edition, “Ethics for Editors,” p.4).

  140. Dr. Robert Wood, University of Dallas, Editor of the American Catholic Philosophical Quarterly. He violated the ethics for editors by sending a candidate manuscript to only one reviewer, instead of three, that was most biased against the thesis of the article and lied. (See Council of Biology Editors Style Manual, Fifth Edition, “Ethics for Editors,” p.4).

  141. Dr. Marcy Brown Marsden, Biology Department, University of Dallas, instructor of two courses on evolution and one on statistics, lied about evolution and statistics to reject a candidate article critical of evolution.

  142. Professor Joseph Alois Ratzinger, made the public statement that, “This clash (with evolution) is an absurdity because on one hand there is much scientific proof in favor of evolution, which appears as a reality that we must see and which enriches our understanding of life and being as such.” He was unable to send one iota of scientific proof of evolution and of course would not contend for the unlimited Life Science Prizes.

  143. Dr. Guy Consolmagno, Vatican astronomer, Fordham University visiting professor, Brother in the Society of Jesus, claims on his web site without evidence that Genesis is pagan and creationists believe in a flat Earth, whereas scientific and historical evidence support Genesis and prove that evolution is based 12% on superstitions, 74% on frauds, 14% on forgeries, and the vitalism worship of the pagan goddess, Gaea, the Great Mother Earth. When confronted, he evaded, misled, and lied as well as any evolutionist.

  144. Mr. Bill Maher. Comedian and Creation basher.

  145. Carl Zimmer. Former senior editor of Discover magazine. Called “as fine a science essayist as we have” by a New York Times Book Review. 168. Mr. Robert Wright. Senior fellow at the New America Foundation. Author of “The Evolution of God.” (9-4-09)

  169. Dr. Todd C. Wood, of Bryan College, who wrote, “There is evidence for evolution, gobs and gobs of it.” Upon request and with the incentive of unlimited $10,000 grants for his Center for Origins Research, he did not send any evidence. Can it be that there is no scientific evidence to support evolution? Can it be that Todd C. Wood uses brass and bluff like the other 363,000 anti-science evolutionists worldwide? (12-30-09)

  170. Stenger, Victor J. Adjunct Professor of Philosophy, University of Colorado; Professor Emeritus of Physics and Astronomy, University of Hawaii; Research Fellow, Center for Inquiry-Transnational; Fellow of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry. 172. Charles F. Bolden. Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (as of 2009). Was in authority when David Coppedge was fired for speaking to co-workers about creation rather than the superstition, evolution.

  173. Dr. Alan R. Rogers. Author of The Evidence for Evolution, 2008, has stated that evolutionists should be prepared to offer evidence when challenged. He was challenged. He has no scientific objective, valid, reliable, calibrated evidence.

  174. Daniel Loxton. Author of the children’s book Evolution: How We and All Living Things Came to Be. The book was highly acclaimed by Michael Shermer (#13), Eugenie Scott (#12), P.Z. Myers (#40 Organizations), and The Skeptic magazine of Australia. 175. Dr. David Hillis, Dr. Daniel Bolnick, Dr. John Hoberman, and all University of Texas faculty and staff members who joined them in attempting to remove the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) from the list of state approved charities because ICR reminds the general public that the “Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection” is actually a 340-year-old superstition with of course not one iota of scientific evidence to support it.

  176. John R. Staver, Ed.D., Professor of Science Education and Chemistry, Co-Director, Center for Research and Engagement in Science and Mathematics Education, Co-Editor, Journal of Science Teacher Education, Purdue University.

  177. Dr. Robert Price, Editor-in-Chief of the journal Microscopy and Microanalysis, and from the Department of Cell Bioogy and Anatomy, School of Medicine, University of South Carolina, in violation of the ethical standards published by the Council of Biology Editors, would not permit a review of the article, Does the morphology of Micrasterias cells disprove universal originality?

  178. Editor-in-Chief Matti Leisola and Managing Editor Douglas Axe of the journal Bio-Complexity pretended that proof beyond the science standard was assumptions and in violation of the ethical standards published by the Council of Biology Editors, would not permit a review of the article, Does the morphology of Micrasterias cells disprove universal originality?

  179. Dr. Peter Enns, Senior Fellow of BioLogos, believes that God, the mega-engineer, would use the inverted superstition, evolution, 340 years out of date to create and to maintain life. That is an insult to anyone believing in God and to anyone calling such a stupidity, science.

  180. Dr. Denis O. Lamoureux, Associate Professor of Science & Religion at St. Joseph’s College, University of Alberta, wrote “Adam never existed,” and the God of the Bible “created the universe and life through evolution.” He believes that the God of the Bible, the mega-engineer, would use a 340 year old superstition, evolution, to create life. Pity the poor students who may try to make sense of what he teaches.

  181. Dr. Daniel J. Kruger, University of Michigan, teaches “An evolutionary approach to psychology,” but has no science to support his superstition

  182. Dr. Sean B. Carroll, University of Wisconsin, teaches the evolution of animal diversity, but has no science to support his superstition.

  183. Dr. David R. Montgomery, Professor of Earth and Space Sciences at the University of Washington Seattle, claims “that geologists have . . . a vast array of evidence that refutes both a young age for Earth and a worldwide flood.” Upon request, scientists making such claims are obliged to send their best scientific evidence. Upon request, Dr. Montgomery sent none and that suggested he has none or he is not a scientist. 11-24-2012.

  184. Zach Kopplin. “Known as “one of the fiercest — and most feared — advocates for education reform in Louisiana.” He evidently is all brass and bluff because he has not one iota of scientific evidence to support evolution, the 340 year old superstition. 2-2-2013

  185. Hemant Mehta. This pitiful “friendly atheist” and Patheos web site bloggers claim without any evidence that Answers in Genesis Creation Museum’s “quality of information is worthless, which makes the ‘museum’ nothing more than an expensive way to confuse and indoctrinate children.”

  186. Penn Jillette, calls evolution science and the alternative, “creationist crap,” yet presents not one iota of scientific evidence to substantiate his claims. 10-14-2013

  187. Dan Phelps. Billed as “among the most active scientists in debunking Answers in Genesis’ Creationism Museum,” gave not one shred of scientific evidence to contradict any of the Museum’s exhibits. 11-1-2013.

  18. University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. 36 signatories to a letter pressuring the Dover, PA school Board to censor criticism of evolution and to censor Intelligent Design.

  19. Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Dr. Christian Semper, Director; Mr. Randall Kremer, Public Affairs Director; Lucy Dorrick, Associate Director for Development and Special Events.

  20. Lehigh University, the entire Department of Biological Sciences, with the exception of Professor Michael J. Behe, published their “unequivocal support of evolutionary theory and that intelligent design has no basis in science, has not been tested experimentally, and should not be regarded as scientific.” Even with the enticement of $10,000 per person per trial without limit, all failed to document those words with scientific evidence. Given that science is based on the truth, Professor Behe evidently is the only scientist in the Department of Biological Sciences. Given their intent to deceive, the rest qualified themselves as anti-scientists.

  21. University of Idaho. Dr. Timothy P. White, President. Biological Sciences and Chemistry Departments.

  22. Cornell University. Dr. Hunter Rawlings III, Interim President, and all faculty evolutionists.

  23. National Academy of Sciences. Dr. Bruce Alberts, President.

  24. Stanford University. Dr. Philip Pizzo and 13 Stanford evolutionist faculty members.

  25. SETI Institute. Scientists and Senior Staff of the SETI Institute. (SETI is Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence.) Dr. Jill C. Tarter, Project Director, Center for SETI Research, said, “As we say in SETI, ‘Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.'” Contrarily, scientists would say, “We have looked everywhere and found nothing. Given our instruments and methods, our conclusion is that there is no extraterrestrial intelligence anywhere in the universe. Planet Earth has a unique biosphere.

  26. University of Kansas. Robert Hemenway, Chancellor; Paul Mirecki, Religious Studies Department Chairman; thirteen (13) selected faculty members of the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. (Paul Mirecki proposed a class called, “Special Topics in Religion: Intelligent Design, Creationism, and Other Religious Mythologies,” because he claimed, “The KU faculty has had enough…Creationism is mythology and Intelligent design is mythology. It’s not science.” Subsequently, the proposed course was not approved and Associate Professor Mirecki resigned as department chairman.) No one at the University of Kansas has any scientific evidence in support of evolution.

  27. Paleontological Research Institution. The PRI (an affiliate of Cornell University) staff developed a special workshop and a 13-page guide book for museum guides and docents to use in order to defend against creationists questions.

  28. The Royal Society. This organization claims to be, “UK’s national academy of science.” All fellows were challenged via most of the Council. The Council is made up of 21 Fellows of the Society who are elected by 1400 Fellows and Foreign Members. Their public statement notwithstanding (see # 99 above), evidently none of them have one mote of scientific evidence in support of evolution. With no scientific evidence to support its statement on evolution, the Royal Society has branded itself an anti-science organization of liars with no credibility. What an enormous waste for such a stupid idea.

  29. New York Hall of Science. This organization was one of six groups to receive a $2.5 million National Science Foundation grant to study “How Children Learn Evolution”.

  30. Nature. It claims to be “the world’s top multidisciplinary science journal, and the world’s top journal publishing basic scientific research”. It is militantly pro-evolution without scientific evidence, and it rejects articles critical of evolution, articles with scientific evidence accepted and lauded by one of the world’s leading biological science organizations.

  31. The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology admitted by their defaults they possessed no scientific evidence to support evolution or to overturn the experiments of Francesco Redi, 1668, Louis Pasteur, 1864, and John Tyndall, 1877, that proved evolution was based on ignorance of microorganisms and ignorance of growth and development from microscopic eggs.

  32. Time Magazine. The October 9, 2006 cover story, How We Became Human proclaims, “chimps are our nearest evolutionary cousins” and “evolution is a random process in which haphazard genetic changes interact with random environmental conditions to produce an organism somehow fitter than its fellows. After 3.5 billion years of such randomness, a creature emerged that could ponder its own origins”. C. Owen Lovejoy of Kent State University is quoted extensively.

  33. Springer Publishing Company. This publisher plans a journal for evolution lesson plans, but cannot provide one iota of evidence that evolution exists.

  34. Iowa State University. This outlaw institution uses state government funds to teach the vitalism religion, evolution, and denied tenure to Dr. Guillermo Gonzalez, who had three times the qualifications for tenure, because his popular book, The Privileged Planet, suggested that atheism and the Copernican Principle lacked scientific evidence.

  35. DefCon, the atheist/evolutionist bloggers that flew a banner, “It is a sin to lie,” over the AiG museum. Evidently, the banner admonishes DefCon itself because all the evidence in the universe testifies that atheism and evolution are the lies.

  36. Science Hearing on Teaching the Controversy, Kansas State Board of Education, Topeka, Kansas, May 5-7, 2005. Seventeen Ph.D.s presented some of the best papers ever heard in support of Intelligent Design. During the day devoted for evolution evidence, not one paper was presented by the numerous rowdy evolutionists in attendance. Scientifically as usual, the evolutionists completely defaulted, thereby consistently demonstrating that there is no scientific evidence to support evolution. None.

  37. Hearing on the Teaching of Evolution for the European Parliament of the European Union, Brussels, Belgium, October 11, 2006. The papers presented scientific evidence that there is no scientific evidence to support evolution whereas all the scientific evidence in the universe supports devolution, the exact opposite and excluder of evolution (see the culminating paper at All of the evidence was undisputed in spite of the fact that the evolutionists obviously were in attendance. The evolutionists made their presence known by repeatedly tearing down the posters for the Hearing and the directions to the auditorium. The evolutionists also threw a temper tantrum devoid of evidence or questions during the 40-minute question and discussion session. There were simultaneous translations in English, French, German, and Polish. All of the evolutionists that insulted the presenters were challenged for their scientific evidence and everyone of them had none. For Europe, this demonstrated beyond any doubt that the evolutionists have no scientific evidence to support evolution. None.

  38. European Society for Evolutionary Biology. (ESEB) Publishes the Journal of Evolutionary Biology to “support the study of organic evolution and the integration of related scientific fields.” When challenged for its scientific evidence in support of evolution, it had none. How remarkable that a society and its journal pretending to advance science are in fact advancing the anti-science, evolution, proven a superstition based on ignorance by means of experiments never overturned 3.4 centuries ago by a European medical doctor.

  41. American Humanist Association. The AHA has a “base of over 11,000 members and a network of over 100 grassroots organizations,” but no scientific evidence to support “life can spring forth . . . from nature.”

Outlaw School Districts

Huntington Beach Union High School District, Huntington Beach, California. Dr. Van W. Riley, Superintendent (Edison High School, Fountain Valley High School, Huntington Beach High School, Marina High School, Ocean View High School, Westminster High School, Coast High School and Huntington Beach Adult School, and Valley Vista High School). This school district has evolution in its science curricula in violation of the state Education Code for truth, and in violation of the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America because evolution must be believed by an extraordinary faith in an inverted-fantasy state supported religion. No one in this school district, not students or teachers or administrators or superintendents, can produce any scientific evidence in support of evolution. January 19, 2006.
